A Celebration of Community and Tradition

Originating in the late 19th or early 20th century, the Fulton Street Fair began as an agricultural event featuring a floral parade and showcasing Callaway County’s strong mule and livestock markets. It continued through World War I until World War II, when it merged with the Callaway County Fair.

Revived in 2004, the fair found new life as a family-friendly festival in Fulton’s historic Brick District. While it has shifted from its agricultural roots, it now features carnival rides, local vendors, live entertainment, and community-focused fun.

At the heart of the event is a strong commitment to Callaway County. All food booths are run by local non-profits who rely on the fair as their main fundraiser of the year. Many vendors are local artisans and small businesses sharing their talents and products. Each year, the Fulton Street Fair committee donates event profits to organizations across the county, strengthening community bonds and continuing the fair’s legacy of local pride and support.

The Fulton Street Fair is made possible by a dedicated committee of local volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to bring this beloved event to life. We are deeply grateful to the businesses in the Brick District and the City of Fulton for graciously allowing us to use this historic space for one special weekend each year.
